Employees in any industrial development can be considered as a backbone to the particular industry from the managerial and technical aspects. In any organizational behavior, HR acts as the bridge between both the management and the employee. As HR they also have a remarkable role for building harmonious relationship among the parties while achieving the goals and objectives in the organization. Therefore, the proper application of human resources management principals is an essential in any business that foresee the continuous improvement and success.

Human resources management evolved from the task-oriented nature of personnel administration into a strategy-focused extension of the organization. The transition into a strategic partnership role supports the community better for an effective HR management system. HR management is driven by several business principles where human resources management principals are the foundation and the primary guiding concept in HRM.

There are four main principles where the first is, strategic integration which treats all employee management processes in a strategic fashion by integrating them with broader business concerns on the enterprise. Secondly, organizational flexibility in all aspects of functional, numerical and financial levels are essential. Thirdly, proper control to commitment through changing the organizational culture is vital. Finally, quality is a remarkable aspect where cultural quality, quality of work as well as the employees where it helps to expand the quality of products and services as well.

Similarly, the "Ten C" collection of HR management principles developed by HR management expert Alan Price which are comprehensiveness, credibility, communication, cost effectiveness, creativity, coherence, competence, control, change and commitment are the modern principals in practice.

These principles are useful for HR to determine how strategic management of HR affects three separate stakeholders. They are individual employees, the organization and society or community the organization they serve. With the application of these principles with the satisfaction and trust on the organization, employees become more trustworthy, more committed and more satisfied as they can co-relate themselves very well with each organizational task. They can understand the reaction of environmental changes on the organization, where they can provide a probable response of the organization with the help of strategic management.

Nowadays it is continually updating with the comprehensive collection of on-going activities and processes that organizations use to systematically coordinate and align resources and actions. They should be perfectly matched with the organizational mission, vision, goals, objectives, core values and strategy throughout the organization. These can transform the static plan into a system that provides strategic performance feedback to decision making and enables the plan to evolve and grow as requirements and other circumstances change.

Today in the evolving business world HRM principles are added along with strategic management to give a broader perspective to the employees of an organization where they can better understand how their job role fits into the overall organizational vision, mission, plan and how it is co- related to their subordinates. It is the continuous process of managing employees in a manner where it maximizes the ability of achieving business objectives as well as the personnel career succession.

  2. The modern-day HRM is steered by various superseding principles.

For starters, companies have now identified and accepted human resources as the most vital asset of any company. ☺

If the most valued asset is not well managed, then achieving the set goals can only be but a dream.☺

Many companies now understand that the realization of corporate objectives is impossible without alignment with personnel policies, bringing up a second guiding principle. 😊😊😊
