Role of HR manager keep on changing with the current world of work. It is changing day by day along with the impact of globalization, technology updates, and various other aspects. So, as a professional HR practitioner, a manager of HR should be addressed to the detail inadaptable for a situation in a lesser period of time along with flexibly changing and grabbing the transformation towards the betterment of both personal and professional growth while giving a potential performance to the organization development.

With the static world under the pressure of various internal and external factors intruding, HR manager must attention to detail and grab the competitive advantage towards the organization by ensuring the goal of meeting both organizational and employee objectives. Continuous learning, accurate predictions and significant pro-active measures can be used with strategic planning and monitoring for potential skill development while polishing up the experience.


Under the prevailing industrial practices, HR manager should be a great change agent and transform every challenge into an opportunity by using current strengths. When considering on the organizational platform, HR managers must ensure company HR policies are perfectly matched along with legal, and political, economic, social and technological tiers and they are contributing smoothly towards the organizational success.

Measuring the workforce needs and by attracting the best person at the right time and allocate them with the proper competent and challenging job role while considering the capacity of employee by providing them with ideal learning and development opportunities is essential. Matching the current and future workforce gaps, proper budgeting skills, effective performance management and compensation management leads to an extent level where meeting objectives of management will be challenging.

Building a proper foundation of a healthy employee and employer relationship is vital for any organization. HR must be the bridging block and the core for sustaining it for long. Understanding both requirements addressing them at the right time tends to lead the game. Nowadays multi-cultural workforce beyond the geographical barriers is a great challenge to any HR manager. Language differences, different time frames, developed communication channels along with technological advancement has made the importance of acting multitasking HR professionals in the field.

Developing expertise and redesigning HR policies and systems are vital factors for ensuring work-life balance is advantageous for any organization and transforming it to a great place to work is challenging but once it achieved it can be the highest competitive advantage over simultaneous businesses in the same industry. Strategic support in future improvements will need a confident, courage and a compassionate HR vision while serving the needs of citizens.

Analyzing crucial HR tools with the foresight of the emerging trends in the near future can be grabbed with expertise vision.  Establishing new HR strategies while matching them with the implication of updated organizational practices will enhance the skill inventory. Simplified and easy to understand systems will increase the level of effectiveness and efficiency.

Addressing broader range of HRM activities and finding areas of need to be redefined while addressing urgent needs are really challenging. Streamlining HR work processes and ensuring and monitoring on established rules and regulation compromising compliance are some other vital factors.

However, HR managers in the volatile globe makes them to be smart, fast, pro-active, multiskilled, flexible, attention to detail, challenging and risk-taking while managing diversified cross-cultural workforce by ensuring achievement of predefined quantifiable management objectives as well as the long- and short-term goals for continuous growth, development, and productivity. It should not be over promising and under delivering. Staying ahead of the competition, combat values and standards can be compromised by employer’s choice and organizational resistance.
